Enlarging/Reducing Equation:

_________________________________________

You can use the following calculation to enlarge or reduce measurements, allowing you to use the anatomical figure as a model for any size figure sculpture:

Divide the desired height of your figure sculpture (S) by the height of the anatomical figure (M) to find your ratio (R). Then, to find the measurement for any part of your enlarged or reduced sculpture (A), simply multiply the ratio (R) by the measurement of the corresponding part on the anatomical model (a).

Simplified formula:

S/M = R

R x M = S

R x a = A

This calculation can be used for any body part.
